After all those years as a woman hearing 'not thin enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, not this enough, not that enough,' almost overnight I woke up one morning and thought, 'I'm enough.'

GWII members give back

GWII members kindly contribute an 'entrance fee' to each event. The 'entrance fee' is then distributed to a needy organisation or a good cause. The organisation or cause is determined prior to each event. This page is dedicated to feedback we receive from the ‘receivers’. Thank you GWII members.

December 2015

Thank you so much for selecting You & Me versus MND as your chosen charity for the recent GWII Great Gatsby function.  The money raised at the event was beyond our wildest expectations and we were incredibly grateful to also be given the opportunity to showcase our charity to a select group of professionals and thereby raise awareness of MND.

You & Me versus MND was started initially by Kevin and Carla Jordan.  Kevin was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) just over 7 years ago, and at that stage given less than 5 years to live.  Kevin and Carla decided to start a charity in April 2013, not only to try and raise funds for those less fortunate than themselves, but also to raise awareness of MND in our country.  In 2014, Chris Potter joined the team and has brought additional enthusiasm to the team.

All monies raised by You & Me versus MND are donated annually to the Motor Neuron Disease Association of SA (MNDA of SA).  This organization provides invaluable assistance to those suffering from MND who do not have access to the funds, physical devices or psychological support that are vital.

Please check out our website and Facebook page for more information on us and our initiatives!

All financial transactions regarding fundraising and the distribution of donations are independently reviewed by Kettle Consulting for accuracy and transparency.

Should you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards

Kevin, Carla & Chris
