On 13 February 2025, Gauteng Women in Insurance (GWII) members gathered for an exciting afternoon at the Vibe & Venture Lawn Bowls event, held at the picturesque Randburg Bowls Club in Boskruin.

On 14 November, Gauteng Women in Insurance (GWII) held an insightful Continuous Professional Development (CPD) session, sponsored by Old Mutual Insure, where Chiara Ghirdari, Executive Head of Operational Excellence at Old Mutual, engaged attendees with a talk titled “Redefining Excellence: Disrupting Insurance Leadership with Data, Culture, and Controls.”

GWII wraps up the year in style with “Boots & Bling” event

Held at Deloitte’s Midrand offices, the event's theme, “Amplifying Relationships for Real Impact at Board Level,” featured a compelling keynote address by renowned high-performance coach and TEDx speaker Brad Shorkend.

On 11 September 2024, Gauteng Women in Insurance (GWII) presented a compelling Continuous Professional Development (CPD) session on Cyber and Impersonation Fraud, sponsored by Leppard and Webber Wentzel in partnership with Linklaters.

On September 19, 2024, the ladies of GWII came together for a dazzling evening of crea-tivity and connection at the Vibe & Venture Sip & Paint event! Held at The House of Yay in Sandton, the event was an absolute blast from start to finish.

The Gauteng Women in Insurance (GWII) held their annual golf day on 24 October 2024 at the impressive Steyn City Golf Club in Midrand, proudly sponsored by Auto & General and 1st for Women, with additional sponsorship from Camargue and Innovation Group.
